The Lot Food Truck Park & Events is an open-air gathering space in Downtown Owensboro designed for food, music, and community. Built to host rotating food trucks, live entertainment, markets, and ticketed events, The Lot easily shifts from laid-back daytime hangs to high-energy nights under the lights. With a full bar, flexible layouts, and the ability to scale from intimate gatherings to large crowds, it’s a place where locals and visitors come together for great food and memorable experiences.

The Lot is located at 900 E. 4th Street in the Grain District, just minutes from the heart of Downtown Owensboro.

The space features a large tent accommodating up to 400 guests, a two-bay garage with a full bar and hip trailer-park-chic vibe, and an astroturf lawn for games and gatherings. Amenities include multiple TVs with cable and video services, vintage arcade games and video pinball, 15 picnic tables with benches, lounge seating, cornhole, pop darts, and more.

Rental Rate

• $700 for either a daytime rental (10:00 AM–3:00 PM) or an evening rental (5:00 PM–10:00 PM)

• Includes seating for up to 100 guests, internet access, six TVs, a sound system, and games

Bar Service

All bar service is handled exclusively by Lure Seafood & Grille.

• Open tab or cash bar options available

• $250 bar service fee covers licensing and insurance

Food Options

Food service is flexible:

• Host Benski’s – Italian Comfort Street Style food truck

• Invite additional food trucks or outside catering (subject to a 10% fee on total food spend)

• Lure Seafood & Grille, Lure Smoke Shack Catering, or Famous Bistro may cater at no additional fee

Music & Late Events

Live music or events extending past 10:00 PM require filing an event application with the city and obtaining a noise permit.

During normal operations, The Lot Food Truck Park & Events is open to the public as a casual, family friendly, come-and-go gathering space featuring rotating food trucks, a full bar, and open seating throughout the property. Guests are welcome to grab food from the trucks, enjoy drinks from the bar, and relax in the space with friends, family, and pets while taking advantage of the open-air layout and amenities. The Lot operates Thursday through Sunday from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM, offering a laid-back daytime atmosphere that naturally builds into an energetic evening crowd.

The Lot offers a wide range of built-in amenities designed to make the space comfortable, entertaining, and easy to enjoy throughout the day. Standard amenities include two large portable TVs and four mounted TVs, a house speaker system, Wi-Fi, and a mix of games and activities such as cornhole boards, Pop-A-Shot–style darts, bocce ball, darts, board games, vintage video games, and video pinball. The space is outfitted with lounge furniture along with 13 picnic tables and benches, providing flexible seating for everything from casual hangouts to busy event nights.

For private buyouts, The Lot offers a selection of paid add-on services that allow events to be scaled and customized with ease. Available enhancements include a full PA system for basic audio needs (no on-site sound technician), a short-throw laser projector with an 18-foot screen for movies, presentations, or live viewing, and full bar catering provided by Lure Seafood & Grille, including all required licensing and insurance. The team can also assist with booking and coordinating food trucks, helping hosts create a seamless, well-produced experience without having to manage multiple vendors on their own.

The house bar at The Lot is catered by Lure Seafood & Grille, bringing a polished but approachable beverage program to the space. The bar features a simple, well-curated beer selection, a solid lineup of spirits, and a rotating selection of delicious cocktails on tap designed for speed and consistency. Non-alcoholic aqua frescas are also available, ensuring there’s something refreshing for every guest, whether they’re there for a casual afternoon or a lively night under the lights.

Whenever possible, the team works to significantly discount pricing for nonprofit functions and, in many cases, donates the use of The Lot entirely to help organizations maximize their impact.
